Peek into your cloud

For this highly abstract cloud-dependent technological era, there is a lot to be addressed in the various technologies deployed to production.

Let's get to it.

First, you will remember there is a long history behind the current state of what we are seeing as advancements in the cloud. It's this long history that forms that underlying foundation upon which your cloud concepts and experiences are defined. The tech stack, operation procedures, deployment strategy, computing services, monitoring, troubleshooting, you name it. There is a long history to the current state of what we see as efficient, advanced or defective; here in this article, we are going to take a quick look at those fundamental timelines.

You will accurately remember the long season of service-oriented software development approach which is mainly referred to as monolithic and the microservices oriented development approach of software development. Well, there another higher dimension to the development approach currently known as service mesh in case you have not heard.  This alone is primarily on cloud application development and can be widely studied in various perspectives such as implementation, infrastructure, compatibility, operational overhead and a whole lots of perspective.

The other dimension is the cloud-monitoring, management and orchestration system. Normally, this does not future in the computing, software development and storage hierarchy of the most cloud providers. However, they form the definition of cloud experience. This dimension of cloud implementation is the umbrella covering all cloud solutions and products that distinguish a good and a bad cloud services provider.
